Attending the Career Fair Prep Event on Thursday, February 13 was a valuable opportunity to review my resume and improve my approach to networking with employers. Through this event, I strengthened my communication skills and better understood the employer’s expectations. The help I received will help me refine my resume to better reflect on my experiences and prepare me to confidently talk with and ask questions to recruiters. I also learned how to make a strong first impression by focusing on body language, professional attire, and a short yet impactful introduction.

Attending the All Majors Career & Internship Fair on Tuesday was a great opportunity to meet employers and get a feel for what’s out there. These conversations helped me understand what employers value and how to stand out. Since I'm specifically looking for marketing internships, it was super valuable to hear directly from employers about what skills are most in demand in the industry. It gave me a better idea of how to tailor my resume and approach to match what marketing teams are seeking in potential candidates.

I want to build a career where I help businesses grow by making them more visible and credible online. I’ve always been someone who goes with the flow and finds solutions as challenges come up, which makes me great at adapting to different industries and client needs. I get excited about the future and love inspiring others with big ideas, which helps me bring fresh, creative strategies to the table. At the same time, I make sure people feel included and valued, whether it’s business owners I work with or their customers. My goal is to make a real impact by helping businesses stand out, attract more customers, and ultimately succeed in a competitive market.
