INAKI BAEZA BERNAL
I’m a student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. I’ve always been passionate about helping others, and that’s what led me to start my own business focused on helping local businesses improve their online reputation.
Outside of school and business, I love meeting new people, learning from different cultures, and constantly finding ways to challenge myself and try something new.
TIMELINE
2017 — Moved to Nebraska
Originally from San Diego, I moved to Nebraska in 2017. It was a big lifestyle change, but it gave me a lot to learn, new perspectives, and values.
🎓 2021 — UNO
Studying Business Administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, focusing on entrepreneurship and marketing.
2022 — First Business Experience (Career)
Launched a window cleaning business and went door-to-door to find clients. It helped me develop different skills like confidence, sales, and a better understanding of what it takes to run a business.
2025 — Started Ascend GP
Started Ascend Growth Partners, a review automation service that helps local businesses get more Google Reviews.

The Career Fair Prep Event taught me how to approach conversations with employers. I picked up useful tips on body language, dressing professionally, and making a strong first impression that will help me stand out.
Small Business Owners Alliance (SBOA)
I connected with local business owners at the SBOA event and made valuable contacts, including Shelly from Rely Local, who gave me leads that could turn into clients. This event strengthened my networking skills and opened doors to new business opportunities in the local community.
Brunch & Business
The networking event at ACX Cinema 12+ allowed me to meet a diverse group of professionals and exchange ideas about business growth. Collecting business cards and engaging in conversations helped me expand my network and build relationships that will benefit my business.
Testimonial on Job Site
I filmed a testimonial on-site with a client who praised my services and helped me start running ads for my business. This hands-on experience not only built my confidence in using client feedback for marketing but also helped me refine my business funnels.
Career Goal
I want to build a career helping businesses grow by making them more visible and credible online. I’m adaptable, creative, and future-focused, which helps me bring fresh ideas to any scenario.
